Samsung HT-D6730W Review

The Samsung HT-D6730W is great buy for its price and must have corrected the concerns regarding the HT-C6930W. The sound is perfect just like my eight-year old Onkyo system that cost $1500, and the surround system works very well.

The Samsung HT-D6730W is packed very well, and it takes me about an hour to set-up from start to finish. At first, I am quite confused by only counting five speakers and a sub, while it should be 7.1. I’ve figured out that the two tower speakers are two separate speakers taken as one. Counting them all once again, I end up seven pieces and a sub. The two rear wireless speakers is connected to the wireless AC power component and it communicates to the wireless AV receiver across the room. The sub on the other hand, requires no separate AC plug-in, and that’s surprises me, but it works very well.

The Samsung HT-D6730W blue-ray player has no pop-out tray; it is a direct feed system just like a car CD player. The up scaling runs very well and the standard DVD appears good like HD. The conversion 2D to 3D isn’t bad either. I tried it in Polar Express movie and push on 2D to 3D with the 3D sounds, which my kids love. A single push button on the remote in getting Netflix is a plus.

I bought Samsung HT-D6730W for three reasons. First, I do not have any compatibility concerns with the Samsung TV. Secondly, the rear wireless speakers, and thirdly, the tallboy front speakers that provide proportion in the room.

Obviously, when looking for a system having the best sound quality, better products are available within the price range, but I am particular with specific features. On my research to look for a stereo system with the perfect match of features, qualities, and the price, it is my conclusion that Samsung HT-D6730W is the one I am looking for.

I have the Samsung HT-D6730W product for almost a month, and I do not have any complains. The 3D blu-ray system works very well with the TV. I like very much the Ipod/Iphone cradle, which I use to play tunes. The sounds are full and rich, and I am quite impressed with the online capabilities of Samsung HT-D6730W system offers.
